Ammonium sulfate is a typical nitrogen-based and fast acting fertilizer to lower pH balance of the soil, while contributing essential nitrogen for plant growth. It appears as light brown granules, ammonia cal odor, with a molecular weight of 132.14, and pH between 4.5–6.0.
